Band Members
PHILIPPE GODDE – RHYTHM AND LEAD GUITAR
Philippe have been playing guitar since he was 17. His first group was Cyanide where “Makke” played bass, later followed Who Cares and Contagion where René also drummed….
Each group had its own repertoire and style. With Cyanide they played traditional metal, Who cares was a hardcore group and Contagion was more thrash metal.
RENE MARTEAUX – DRUMS
Rene started playing drums at the age of 16. He often played with Philippe in metal and hardcore oriented bands such as Who Cares and Contagion. influences from AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, Sepultura, Life of Agony, Tool and Dream Theater brought him to bands with other music genres such as Murky Red. Besides these bands with their own repertoire, he also played in the cover band Stormbringer where they played covers mainly from Thin Lizzy to Metal Church.
CHRISTOPHE PERMENTIER – VOCALS
Christophe started his music career as a drummer with Victum, later he became singer of the cover band Stormbringer, where René also played drums, they played covers from Thin Lizzy to Metal Church.
TOM RUYTERS – BASS
Tom has been playing bass since childhood. As a teenager he already played with the big boys of Stormbringer including René and Christophe. After that he went for the heavier work and played bass with death metal band
Evilenko. With Evilenko they hat the chance to play in the Metaldome @ Graspop in
2011. In 2012, René and Christophe asked to join TTM (Tribute To Makke) to play bass. In 2022 Tom will return to TTM which meanwhile has become Metal xposure.
YVES PEETERS – RHYTHM AND LEAD GUITAR
Yves started playing guitar at the age of 18 and was passionate about metal. He grew up with the music of the 80s with bands like Pantera, Channel Zero and Metal Churche keeping him in balance.
He played in various bands for years, but the harder work came with the band Xiphoid. Yves has known the other members for a while. He played in a band with
Philippe, René and +Makke+. Tom and fellow villager Christophe were no stranger to him either, after all they are metalheads in heart and soul.
Later, in 2012, Yves also joined the band ‘TTM’ (Tribute To Makke), due to circumstances he put everything ‘on hold’ in 2017.
Yves is now back and he has picked up the thread again with TTM which now continues as Metal Xposure :-]
Here, according to Yves, the comradeship counts and making music with the mindset somewhere in the eighties & the power of metal!
